Plots

Vegetative plots. Note: these plots are not currently located by GPS.

Roads

All company roads, and all public roads in the immediate vicinity of Company tracts derived from USGS DLG and local GPS data.

Streams

All water features in the immediate vicinity of Company tracts derived from USGS DLG and local GPS data.

Contours

Contour lines from the USGS topo maps, digitized and attributed with elevation in feet.

Other Features

Primarily of utility rights-of-way in the vicinity of Company tracts.

Special Areas

Officially designated Special Areas on Company property having unique biological, geological, or historical features.

Rotation Harvest

A historical record of areas on company land which have received an end-of-rotation harvest. Associated data includes the date the timber sale was completed and the harvest method. This historical record does not go back in time indefinitely. Includes data at least back to 1996. No activity is recorded prior to 1991.

Intermediate Harvest

A historical record of areas on company land which have received a selective harvest . Associated data includes the date the timber sale was completed and the harvest method. This historical record does not go back in time indefinitely. Includes data at least back to 1996. No activity is recorded prior to 1991.

Natural Regeneration

A historical record of areas on company land which have received treatments to promote natural regeneration. Associated data includes the date of the treatment, the acres, and the type of treatment. Note that many areas regenerate naturally following harvest without any further treatment. Such areas are not necessarily included in this layer, which does include all areas which have had purposeful activity to promote natural regeneration.

Stand

The current condition of each relatively uniform area of forest or other land owned by the Company, including details on the timber if present. The stand is the basic unit of the timber inventory system. Associated data includes the current vegetative cover type, management program, site index, and age.

Tract

Company forest land ownership property boundaries.

Multiple-Use Management Plan

An Ecosystem-based Muliple-Use Management Plan.

Landscape Study Compartments

Landscape Compartments. Attributes include core study parameters.

Wetness Index

Wetness map based on Compound Topographic Index derived from 15 meter DEM. Grid values of 1, 2, and 3 correspond to wetness ranks of Dry, Wet, and Very Wet respectively. ESRI GRID format. Legend and Color Map files included.
